A nostalgic night in Melbourne, as Bruce and the band pull the second album show in a row. BORN TO RUN was it tonight. But even before, the oldies kept coming. A massive GROWIN' UP debuted on this tour with the band, including a lengthy story in the midsection, stretching the song to 12 minutes. Spirit found Bruce in talk mode again, with another long story to introduce the song. LOST IN THE FLOOD by request, and the double-shot of tour premieres with LUCKY TOWN and ROULETTE, played back-to-back after a strong BITUSA/Badlands opening. Shackles was dropped for the first time on this tour, WOASD made a comeback instead. MEETING ACROSS THE RIVER was the last song missing from BTR, and was played for the first time ever in Australia. The show also featured one of the longest main sets in recent history, with 2 hours and 55 minutes. We Are Alive to open the encore and This Hard Land to close it, make their Australian debuts on this tour. Overall the longest show of the tour - so far - with 228 minutes on stage time.
